Open Mic Night at the Sanctuary

I've just played an open mic last night at a place in Greensboro called the Sanctuary, and it was amazing.  The event was hosted by a dear friend of mine from the Flatiron named Kristen Leigh, who is a local singer/songwriter from Greensboro, and they're planning on having it on the first Thursday of every month at 7 pm.  Only a few people showed up, but still it was a fantastic crowd.  Matty Sheets, who hosts the open mic at the Flatiron on Tuesday nights, also played at the Sanctuary last evening.

The Sanctuary is located at 900 16th Street in Greensboro.  If you play an instrument or just write poetry, come on out on the first Thursday of every month, and tell 'em Benji sent ya.

UPDATE:  Since this blog entry has been posted, the Santuary has discontinued its open mic night.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Welcome

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Benji Martin, and I'm a singer/songwriter from Thomasville, North Carolina.  Thanks for visiting my website, and welcome.  As you can plainly see, it still has some fixing up to do, so please bear with me.

Thanks for your support.
